Bob appears every Thursday night at the “Tini Bar” playing everything from the “Classics” to Oscar Peterson and Bill Evans styles……requests are usually taken with a twist of his own style !! You will definitely enjoy him…Bob Fraioli and guest artists who sit in provide an opportunity for lovers of jazz to listen to a level of innovative music seldom found beyond the music centers of the West Coast, Chicago and New York City.

Friday, October 1st
Vocalist Peggie Black
This Friday at the Tini Martini jazz vocalist, Peggie Black, shares a mix of the best swinging standards,Latin jazz, and sultry ballads, all laced with her own blend of personality and sassy flair. A graduate of the University of North Florida Jazz Studies program, Peggie weaves the stories of the jazz greats while delivering their songs as only Peggie can, classic jazz, lightly shaken, with a twist!
“Peggie Black’s voice has a saucy ‘Come up and see me sometime.’ flair that laces each note with plenty of double entendres." Mark Faulkner, Florida Times Union. Al Waters is one of the finest horn players within 1000 miles of St. Augustine !!
He was Ray Charles lead sax and some of the other artists he has opened for or accompanied include Milt Jackson, Frank Foster, Jackie Byard, Benny Carter, Ellis Marsalis, the Temptations, Rita Moreno, Florence Henderson and Barry Manilow. This is an impressive group !!!

Friday, October 8th
Two Great Guitarists

James Hogan is a guitarist from Florida who has worked with the bands Left For Dead, and with Matt Mercado's Pivotman. He also worked briefly with death metal pioneer Chuck Schuldiner of Death (band) in the mid-90's.
Hogan is also revered studio guitarist who is fluent in many styles of music. His touring and recording credits are extensive, and diverse. Along with metal legend Schuldiner and Mercado, Hogan has also worked with renowned jazz pianist Dave Brubeck and r&b legend Chaka Khan. Hogan also toured in 2007 with the official band of NASCAR. He is also a music pedagogist who teaches for the National Guitar Workshop, and at a Florida college. James Hogan has a self produced instrumental jazz/rock fusion album entitled True Diversity. It was the #1 selling jazz disc of 2006 distributed by Guitar 9 Records.

“The leading bass players in the area” and very soon in Jazz World. The two of them produce an interesting duo seldom heard anywhere other than New York !!

Pianist, Singer and trumpeter, Jason Anderson with Stan Piper on Bass
Jason is a versatile pianist/vocalist who performs everything from jazz standards of the 40's to modern day artists such as John Legend, Jack Johnson. John Mayer, and Michael Buble.
In 1999 he won the prestigious International Association of Jazz Educators' Trumpet Chair in Chicago, and again in New York in 2000. He has performed onstage with many recording artists including Wynton Marsalis, Bobby Shew, and Michael Brecker, and his high-energy horn band has opened for artists such as James Brown, Kool and the Gang, Grover Washington, Jr., and Huey Lewis and the News.
His debut cd, "Listen Closely", featuring members of horn section from KC & The Sunshine Band, as well as the Reverend Al Green's sax player and many other talented artists, is scheduled to be released in

Al is recently back from a tour in Iraq, and is one of the local favorites here. Anyone who ever played an instrument in St Augustine probably knows him from his teaching in the area, he is also featured on Bob's album (Bob Fraioli quartet performing at the St. Augustine Jazz Fest).

A prominent drummer on the Chicago jazz scene, many great musicians often sought him out as a first choice player. This environment allowed Scott to develope his modern and engaging approach, and apply it to the variety of musical styles to which he was asked to perform. In 1999 Scott Poor released his first compact disc, BREATH (recorded live to two track at C.E. Mikter Studios). It is available at CDBABY.COM and features Vinson Johnson (reeds), Robert Applebaum (piano), and Michael Cristol (bass)........By the time he left Chicago the Scott Poor Trio was performing various clubs and functions and was the official for Saturday nites at Chicago jazz club "Delaney & Murphy's'.
Scott is the son of prominent show business performers. Scott's father Max Poor a world-renowned drummer and his mother Dorothy a professional acrobatic dancer.
With this gene pool, it is no wonder that Scott has forged his own creative musical personality
